Disclaimer

Belgium EOR Insider publishes general information about employing people in Belgium. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for advice on your own situation.

The part that matters most

Belgian employment law is layered. A general rule is routinely overridden by a sectoral collective agreement, and the answer for your company can differ from the answer for a company next door in a different joint committee. Nothing on this site can account for that. Before acting, confirm your position with a Belgian employment lawyer, your social secretariat, or the relevant public authority.

No advice, no relationship

Reading this site, or contacting us, does not create a lawyer-client, adviser-client or fiduciary relationship. We are not a law firm, not a tax adviser, and not licensed to give regulated advice. Statements about Belgian law are our summary of publicly available material for general information.

Accuracy and currency

We take care with figures and cite primary sources, but Belgian amounts and rules change frequently — the national wage floor moved twice during 2026 alone, indexation can trigger at any point in the year, and joint committee agreements are renegotiated on their own cycles. Any figure here is accurate to the best of our knowledge at the review date shown on the page, and may have changed since.

Notice periods, contribution rates, voucher ceilings and thresholds in particular should be verified against the official source before you rely on them for a decision or a contract.

Rankings and opinions

Provider and agency rankings are our assessment, based on publicly available information and the criteria published on each page. They are opinions, not statements of fact, and not endorsements or recommendations to buy. Reasonable people would score differently. No provider or agency has paid for inclusion, position or favourable treatment.

Where we could not verify something — including Belgian enterprise numbers, for which no programmatic lookup is available — we mark it unverified. That means we could not confirm it, not that it is untrue. Where we describe what a provider claims, we are reporting the claim and not adopting it.

Provider pricing, coverage, ownership and service arrangements change without notice. Always confirm current terms directly with the provider.

Third-party sites

We link to provider websites and official Belgian bodies for your convenience. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it, and a link is not an endorsement.

Your own decisions

Decisions about how to employ people, which provider to appoint, what to pay and how to structure an arrangement are yours. You are responsible for your own compliance with Belgian and EU law, including obligations under the Act of 24 July 1987 where an arrangement involves placing employees at another company’s disposal. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on anything published here.
